I have been practising yoga for years and the longer I’ve been practicing the more I’m noticing my yoga habits off the mat. What does it mean? Imaging reclined twist pose as I turn in bed, Childs post in bed when I don’t feel like getting up due to poor sleep. Lying on the sofa with my feet up to restore after a long day or to take a nice break. I even take yoga belts with me when I travel and use them on coaches, trains, airports and even airplanes. Yes, I’m one of those (weirdos if you like), but I’m totally not apologetic. My body is in love with movement and definitely doesn’t tolerate non-movement for prolonged periods of time!
Do you practice yoga off the mat? Or workouts away from usual environments?
